It's #EDSC2022 month! Events are happening across Europe during the entire month of September, celebrating sustainable regenerative communities. Foraging, permaculture events, an apple gala, eco-festivals, film nights, picnics, clean ups, climate walk and talks… explore the event map. It’s not too late to register an event. Remember to take photos, share the event on social media, and afterwards, you can submit a story to tell us how it went :)

During this upcoming Communities for Future session on 19 September we will hear the voices of bright young people who are envisioning and walking pathways towards a positive future - regenerative, more equitable, life-affirming, peaceful, and thriving in line with nature. To explore the following questions in dialogue together:

• What is your vision of a positive future in Europe that you are leading from?
• What are you doing to bring your vision (your love for nature and people) into reality?
• How are you organising together in community to affect social & systemic change?
• What inspiration and empowerment can you give to other (young) people?
  

We extend a whole-hearted invitation to young people and everyone of any age to join us at this online event; to connect and learn about the experiences, visions, and actions of young people in relation to climate change, sustainability, community and political engagement and to be uplifted by the energy and inspiration of youth!

It’s time to bring a stronger voice of community-led initiatives into EU policy. Through joint policy positioning with partners, we aim to make our voices even stronger and trigger conversations about the role of communities and policies/politics when it comes to transformational systemic change.

We invite you to join a consultation process on a policy paper baseline, starting on Wednesday 28 September 3 – 5 pm CET (online) and lasting until 1 November.

ECOLISE, through the SPARK project, wants to fund 5 Climate Outreach training sessions to be delivered by its members, taking place from 1st October 2022 to July 2023. Some examples of topics you can cover are: Just Transition, Youth, Communication, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Ecofeminism. If you have an idea of a training or are already preparing one and would like to get some funding please fill in this form. Deadline 10 October 2022.
