Climate Action through deep collaboration: How can you engage with Communities for Future
February 23 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm CET
We are living with unprecedented ecological, social, economic and political crises. At the same time, community-led initiatives across the world are developing a diversity of solutions. We need to build bridges among these initiatives and movements, and the people behind them. Now, more than ever, we need to bring collaboration on climate action to another level. We need to learn together and support each other.
Come explore with us how Communities for Future can enable such radical collaboration.
You may have heard of the Communities for Future action programme. It aims to inspire and support local communities in mainstreaming a community-led approach to climate action and sustainability. But do you know how you and your organization can engage with it? How could it best serve your initiatives? How can it accelerate climate action and societal transformation in Europe?
Join us on 23th February to hear and envision answers to these questions and more.
You’ll get an update on the programme since its launch in September. You will get to know how you and your organization can already benefit from and contribute to Communities for Future through our collaboration platform, resources, events, policy work and communications.
We invite your participation in shaping the direction and implementation of this programme. We explore in group conversations how this programme could reach its aims and best assist a wide range of European community-based groups in their work, crafting a healthier, fairer, regenerative future.
This session is meant for both ECOLISE members and collaborators who are already familiar and engaged with Communities for Future and ECOLISE, as well as individuals and organizations who are new to the programme and wish to explore what it is all about.
