The European network ECOLISE in collaboration with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organizes on September 17 the European Day of Sustainable Communities with an event in Brussels and many others happening simultaneously throughout Europe. Local pioneering projects in resilience building will be presented. All of them seek to create innovative and sustainable ways of life: ecovillages, transition initiatives, permaculture projects, agroecology and other initiatives that the public can discover to be inspired by them. From Los Portales we invite you to celebrate this event with us starting on Friday, September 16 at 6:00 p.m. From Friday to Sunday 26, we will celebrate the Summer Meeting of the Iberian Network of Ecovillages (RIE). This meeting is open to all those who seek a rapprochement with the ecovillage movement. During the days that the meeting lasts, we will share knowledge and experiences in workshops and talks and there will be spaces to get to know each other, enjoy music, games, projects, products and seeds. Every summer, since 1998, we celebrate the Annual Meeting of Ecovillages and Communities. A few days in which the members of the network get together and meet again to offer workshops and inspiration to the hundreds of people who come. Share, tell us how we are doing. Learn from each other. The pleasure of seeing each other and celebrating that we are still here. Workshops of all kinds, contacts, songs, exhibitions, laughter, hugs, walks, meetings, girls and boys, games, baths, heat, storms… the pleasure of meeting each other, loving each other, affection networking.
