Street art with a Positive Impact. Interview with SUBSET Art Collective.
September 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm ISTDonation based
Most of us know the feeling of being moved by a work of art. When we are touched, we become aware of emotions that we did not notice before. This experience of awakening the senses is the reason why art is a common language that can inspire people to turn thinking into action.
At CREART Synergy we want to celebrate the European Day for Sustainable Communities (#EDSC2021) listening to insights from the art collective with social impact SUBSET, which for years have been decorating vacant walls with colourful and thought-provoking pieces.
The artists are best known for their striking murals that have appeared all over Dublin, calling attention to subjects related to climate change and social justice.
During this 1 hour conversation, we will get the opportunity to hear about SUBSET motivation, their impact, their challenges and other interesting insights behind the creation their amazing murals. Since the artists want to remain anonymous, we will have the camera off for this interview.
There will be no attending fee set for this event, however we would like to ask you to make a contribution within your possibilities to the Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH) organization, SUBSET’s charity partner.
Looking forward to seeing you on the day!
